Our God is a good God. He is good all the time and all the time He is good.
Psalms 118:1
Praise to God for His Everlasting Mercy
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
His mercy – hesed
Matthew 24:8
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Isaiah 60:1-2
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
When there is darkness on earth, God’s people arise and shine
Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Christianity is good news and only good news.
There is no bad in God
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:11
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
God is a good God even in the times we are living in.
5 SURELY STATEMENTS (PROMISES) Found in God’s Word
We ought to be children of hope
God wants us to abound in hope in our lives
1 Corinthians 13:7 ESV
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Arise in hope
A positive expectation of good things to come
We have an absolute certainty found in the promises of God
ℓσνє hope all things
We will have hope in every situation
Let your hope arise today!

Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the LORD said to him: “You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed.
How do we know God’s will for our lives?
God’s will is found in God’s Word
5 SURELY STATEMENTS
- SURELY He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler. And from the perilous pestilence. Psalms 91:3
- Surely He has borne our griefs. And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5
- “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” Hebrews 6:14
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me. All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. Psalm 23:6
- He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Revelation 22:20
Surely – ki , indeed, truly, a marker of emphasis strengthening the statement. This is inspired by God.
God wants this to be emphasised
Every promises of God are yes and amen
Every christian doctrine belief must be founded on the Holy Scripture alone
Don’t base your faith on anything else but the Word of God
When you know the truth, the truth shall set you free
No weapon formed against you will prosper. God is for you and He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world
God wants to emphasis to you when Jesus went to the cross SURELY He borne our griefs, physical pain and mental pain
He was wounded for our transgressions
When Jesus went to the cross He has carried your sickness and pain
Just one touch one Word from Him, your situation will turn around.
God is a good God. He has revealed to you that surely He will heal you
God opened the red sea for them.
Exodus 15:23
Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah.
Exodus 15:24
And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”
The people complained when they faced the challenge in their lives.
Exodus 15:25
So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.
There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them
Moses cast the tree into the water. The waters were made sweet
Cried out to God and apply the cross. The cross is demonstration of God ℓσνє for you
God loves you. God cares for you.
God is here to help you go through every difficulties in lives
Apply the cross even though people are cruel to you, yet God is kind to you
Let the past go and remember the cross
God will turn every bitter situation around for our good!
God revealed today, I am the Lord who loves you!
He is the Lord who heals you
1 Peter 2:24
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Jesus became sin because of your sin. He took it for you. We having died to sin might live for righteousness

Start declaring I am healed!
I am young! My youth is renewed like the eagle. I am healed! Declare it!
I am whole!
Surely! He has borne your sicknesses. Carried your pain. By His stripe you are healed!
Hebrews 6:15
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Keep on believing. You are on day closer to your miracle and healing
God will SURELY bless you
In that blessing is providence
God has something beautiful for you
What does the Lord wants to emphasis today?
SURELY hesed and goodness shall follow you ALL the dayssss of your life! Goodness and mercy shall follow you and hunt you down!
His mercy knows no end
John 1:16 NASB
For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
Grace of God is never ending
It is abundant!
God’s grace is upon you!
God is never ever going to hold your sin against you again
Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Grace can turn your heart around
Grace can cause you to forgive anything people has done against you
It is this grace that cause you to walk in love with all men even to your enemies
John 14:1-3
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
The Lord will rapture the church
The rapture is the blessed hope
Titus 2:11-13
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Jesus is coming back for us and even for the world
The King of kings and the Lord of lords will come!
1 John 3:1-3
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus
5 SURE PROMISES OF GOD
- God will SURELY deliver me
- God will SURELY heal me
- God will SURELY bless me
- God will SURELY be good and merciful to me
- Jesus will SURELY return for me and receive me to Himself in heaven
