Sermon Note

Pastor Lian

All things work for the good to those who loved God and are called according to His purpose

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Exodus 3:10

Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

Look at Moses’ response

Exodus 3:11

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

His eyes were on himself

Exodus 3:12

So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Today when you know you are not disqualified because Jesus on the cross died for us. The old man has been crucified with Him

God does not disqualified you. He is certainly with you

God said He will certainly be with you

We are not here to look at ourselves. We are here to look at God’s heart.

I AM has sent Me to you

Don’t know what to do, I AM YOUR SHALOM, I AM YOUR PEACE, I AM YOUR DIRECTION

Just need to know Him

Exodus 4:1-2

Miraculous Signs for Pharaoh

Then Moses answered and said, “But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, ‘The LORD has not appeared to you.’ ”

So the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?”

He said, “A rod.”

God does not need us but He wants to develop intimacy with us. He wants to grow our spiritual muscles.

Exodus 4:10

Then Moses said to the LORD, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”

Exodus 4:12

Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”

Initial – God said He will be with you

Now – God specifically provides for the areas you are lacked in. He will cause His grace to superabound in that area

Exodus 4:13

But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.”

This is the ultimate! He rejected the assignment.

Look at God’s response:

He said He will provide more supplies to help him

Exodus 4:13-15

But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.”

So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and He said: “Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.

Jesus is the living Word

When faith arises, all our enemies scattered

Replace negative thoughts with His Word

Accepted and loved unconditionally

God is not looking at my failure

See Jesus everyday. Let that be your prayer.

See Jesus in my situation. Not the situation or what people say or do.

God is so faithful

Luke 21:28
Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
