We come to meet the Person. We come to encounter Jesus!
In this place tonight there is no old and young generation. It is the young generation and the younger generation.
There is glory in your faces.
Tonight we are celebrating a God who bless every generation.
Even as you pour out unto the Lord, time and energy for Jesus and His gospel, in this life time you will get back a 100 times more❗️
You walk into divine surprise.
God wants to bless you and bless your entire family. The blessing does not stop. It keeps on blessing.
John 14:8-9
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
God is not out to judge us.
Jesus came to Earth to show us God is Abba. He is our Father.
One of the characteristics of Jesus is He is moved with compassion.
Every time you look at Him, His heart is moved with compassion.
Mark 6:34
And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
His heart is moved with compassion for us.
When He looks at the multitude, He did not see them with sins. There are people who are really messed up. His heart was not moved with how they should behave. His heart was moved with compassion when He saw the people who are broken. He saw them as sheep with a shepherd.
He saw them as defend less and helpless.
Compassion is not sympathy
Sympathy is shallow.
You feel the pain that person is going through. That is empathy.
Compassion means this person is not just moved, but desire to take the pain away from you.
Jesus came in and takes away the pain.
We are not a generation that is powerless. We have Jesus. He is for you and for me.
He is here to take away the brokenness.
Jesus comes to take away the pain.
He began to teach them many things. When Jesus heart is filled with compassion towards you, His heart is to come to you and teach you.
If you never heard the gospel of grace preached, you will not even know Jesus. It was in a service like this, preaching and saying grace is here and healing is a grace gift. You can receive healing not because you are good but because it is grace gift.
Pastor Daniel have a father who was suffering from cancer. Pastor Prince prayed for people who needs healing or loved ones need healing, stand up.
If you think the person do not deserve healing, stand up! Because healing is a grace gift!
Good teaching can save your lives and your family lives.
This is the heart of God. The heart of Jesus moved with compassion.
A leper came to Jesus. Jesus’s heart moved with compassion for a leper.
Anybody in this place you got something eating you up in the inside?
It could be something someone spoke over you that you could not let go.
You feel there are walls of separation in your family.
He is here to touch you and to eat up what is eating you up.
Mark 1:40-42
Jesus Cleanses a Leper
Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
Testimony –
5 years ago there was a lady who came to Youth service. When she first came she was suffering from cancer. 15 year old gal.
It almost feel it was a death sentence for her. Week after week she came and take holy communion and listen to the Word.
Sometimes past, this gal received complete healing. There is no trace of cancer now.
She is now 20 years old.
5 years ago she was going through the darkest cloud over her head. Jesus came with compassion in His heart and set her completely free!
5 years ago could have seems impossible.
I am here to declare to you tonight. Jesus is the God of all generation. He is the beginning and the end. He is the Author and Finisher of your life.
You are trusting God for something to happen. The same God who healed the leper is the same God who can heal you.
Tonight your breakthrough is here!
The God of compassion is here tonight to touch you.
