Gift of Righteousness
Wow do you know the importance of knowing we are righteous not by our own doings but by Jesus’s sacrifice?
See how strong this verse is – if righteousness comes from the law (self-effort) then Christ died in vain (for nothing)!
And see this, He who knew no sin to be sin for us thar we might become the righteousness of God in Him!! (Divine exchange!)
Now, having the revelation that we are righteous because of Christ, can you imagine how it will impact in our lives?
We will reign in life!! We receive this gift of righteousness, we reign in life! Wow!!
There are a lot of verses on how the righteous are blessed, one of which is my favourite verse-
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield!!
(Psalm 5:12, Gal 2:21, 2 Cor 5:21)
