Chinese Sermon Note

Pastor Mark

Although we are separated physically, but our Lord is always with us.

His Word is spirit and life. Let His Word be planted in your heart. There is harvest for what you plant in your heart.

Whatever seeds you plant you will expect the plant to grow.

Our heart is like a field. Plant the Word as a seed in our heart. This is so precious. This is God’s Word. It is life and can grow. God’s Word will protect our heart. It will grow and have fruits.

We belong to heaven. We are in this world but not of this world.

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Jesus come to give us life and life more abundantly!

Our life is most important. When we have good life we will expect good things to happen. Jesus’ mission to come is to do divine exchange and give us His life.

He loves us so much that He became the Sacrificial Lamb to die on the cross for us.

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

We have eternal life. We shall not perish but have everlasting life!

God’s Word is life. This is our life. When we believe His Word we will live it out.

God’s wish is we prosper in all things and be in health, even as our souls prosper

God is in us. We are seated together with Christ.

Live out what God gives us. We do not live according to the world’s lack.

We have abundance life!

God wants us to understand we are set apart from the world.

God wants to give us life and prosper in all things.

How we see that in the Old Testament?

Gospel of John depicts Jesus as Eagle.

He is like an eagle, brings us out of trouble.

Exodus 19:4

You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.

Jesus don’t want us to be oppressed

Egypt depicts the world

By His stripes we are healed.

God wants us to prosper in ALL things. Don’t have lack mentality

God so loved us. He bore us on eagles’ wings and brought us to Himself.

If He don’t come to us, we cannot go to Him.

Our lives is like eagles.

In desert, there was nothing but God provided mana.

Eagle has sharp eyes.

God’s eyes is constantly looking after us to protect us and provide for us.

When we are in Christ, behold Him and not of the world.

Jesus wants us to be healthy!

Psalms 91:3

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler

And from the perilous pestilence.

God’s eyes look after us

God’s ears hear our prayers.

Know where we stand. We are in Christ. Not by our feeling. Know our position.

God don’t depend on feeling to judge us.

It is by Jesus’ blood we can stand boldly as His righteousness in Christ.

No matter how bad our feeling is, have a change of mind and depend on His blood. That through Jesus we can have shalom.

This is by His grace.

Jesus wants to bore us on His wings !

Jesus comes from heaven and He brings us to soar like eagles!

Jesus wants to bring us to soar in the sky. When we soar with Him we are living heaven on earth.

He loves us and He embrace us.

Psalms 91:15

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

Though Jabez’s mum called him pain but he did not resign to his fate.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10

Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Jabez called on the God of Israel.

He did not depend on his own doing. He depended on God’s covenant.

It is like we receive holy communion.

Our God loves us.

We can ask God to bless us bless us.

We are in no lack.

God wants us to understand He loves us.

We have a relationship with God. We are set apart from the lack of the world

1 Chronicles 4:10

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Prosper in all things! Declare ! Declare prosper in all things!

God wants us to talk to Him everyday

In Jesus Christ we are the righteousness of God in Him

We are the blessed ones.
