Sermon note (3rd svc)
God had mothers in mind. The process of nurturing. No one can replace mothers.
Blessing is not just a word thing. Blessing is something comes on you or release in you to empower you.
Blessing of provision to cause you to get or create provision in your life.
Pastor will pray for aggressive peace for all mothers.
We are very blessed because this generation of young people (and we are all young) if you are below 60 years old you are young. If you are 54 you are especially young.
Pastor never think of age and to him age is nothing. God renews our youth like eagles.
15 of May is 15 5. 15 is rest. Triple grace. He was born to preach grace. Is 15 years after Israel came back as a nation.
Rapture His feet does not touch down. He is in the sky and He shout out for us. In the twinkling of eyes we are raptured!
We rapture first and it will happen so fast the world won’t see us rapture. Our body will be transformed and we can still eat.
The higher level our body will be transformed like His body. The final instalment! We won’t be floating in heaven like spirit. We have bodies.
After that 7 years of tribulation. He is returning WITH us
We are all caught in the battle of ages.
The Old Testament, the moment Adam fell and sin, the virgin’s birth, the seed of heaven will crush the serpent’s head.
The devil is not all knowing. God is.
Cain killed Abel. Abel was not the one who is the seed of heaven.
He tried to kill baby Moses but Moses was preserved.
Mothers, trust your child with God.
The mother trusted God by putting baby Moses in a basket on River Nile.
She trusted God.
From one baby’s cry, God’s people will be delivered.
The very Hebrew child Pharaoh wanted to destroy, he will be sponsoring!
Exodus 2:6-9
And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”
Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?”
And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s mother. Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him.
Without faith it is impossible to please Him.
Entire drama unfold in the Old Testament was the devil trying to stop the seed from coming.
Jesus came, died on the cross and rose from the dead. The devil can’t stop God’s plan to come to us!
The devil is still targeting Israel. Why the devil still attack Israel ?
The Messiah will return to Israel on the Mount of Olive and the mountain will spilt. He will return with us!
He will establish His kingdom on earth.
He will return in Mount of Olive in Jerusalem
There is a present truth, there is an old truth.
We are to be established in present truth.
There are 8 covenants in the bible. The one we are focused on is where it concern us.
Law and Grace.
The bible divide into old covenant and new covenant.
The covenant of grace.
What was the covenant with the first Man ?
Freely eat is repetition of the word Eat. Eat eat.
We will say twice or three times when we emphasis on something.
Death is a process that started the moment Adam disobeyed God.
If Adam one day said something bad to Eve, does that means he forfeited the garden already?
Imagine go back in time, what if Adam loses temper with her, will his garden be forfeited? No!
The letter kills. They could eat and enjoy one another and the blessing of God. The present truth then was don’t eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The devil always focus us on the 1 thing that is not doing right yet.
The time of Abraham is unconditional covenant.
The new covenant is a fulfilment of Abrahamic covenant.
God’s main agenda is Abrahamic covenant.
When God descended, under His feet was sapphire stone. (Law written on the sapphire stone)
Grace of God, Sapphire
Grace of God combine with the law. This is ministry of death.
Paul at that time Saul. First person after he saw when his eyes was opened was the person whose name means Grace. (He prayed for his blind eyes to be opened)
Pictures of lamb, flour, all picture of His Son.
His nature is loving and kind.
Nobody can keep 10 commandments in their hearts.
In those days they offered the sacrifices to cover their inward sins.
By the law, the law reveal us as sinners so that we will find all our hope in One, Jesus.
As long as you disobey, you are in trouble. How do you get into troubles back then? Revealed in the law.
If you break the law in those days that is how you get into trouble.
If you are under the law u always find yourself under the curse. The moment u try to keep the law u r under the curse.
There is a better way! The new covenant.
3 things (effects) God said will happen
1. Put in their hearts the motivation. Is God who works in us the willingness and the desire. God put into our hearts and give us power to execute it.
2. I will be their God and they shall be My people. We are different from the people of the world. We are healthy and God will renew our strength and youth. We will have enough to be a blessing to others. None will teach his neighbour to know the Lord. All shall know Me from the least (born again just yesterday) to the greater. Know intuitively.
3. Their sins and lawless deeds i will remember no more! In the new covenant is all God’s part, not man’s part. Man’s part is just to believe!
Just believe! Believe that He will! The part that makes it happen is to believe!
Because your sins i will remember no more, therefore you will know Me.
When you know your sin are forgiven you just love. Love is the fulfilment of the law.
The 3 effects take place because of the last clause.
Holy communion – this cup is the new covenant in My blood to shed the forgiveness of sin.
Learn not to be sin-conscious. Once sacrifice remove sin.
Be established in the present truth.
Your sins are forgiven. Before God can be a God to us, believe our sins are forgiven. We are honouring the work of Jesus.
We don’t see God become a God to us because we don’t believe the final clause. That today God is merciful to your unrighteousness and God remember your sin no more!
New covenant!
Believe our sins are forgiven and we are the righteousness of God in Christ!
Jesus’ blood is not the blood of bull and goats.
Even our future sins! When Jesus died none of us exist!
When the bible said ALL it means ALL!
Knowing we are forgiven empower us to live for God.
Deuteronomy 8:17-18
then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Power to get wealth – Abraham, Issac and Jacob covenant were unconditional covenant.
Abraham was sleeping when God cut the covenant. To establish the new covenant!
To establish His new covenant. God give us the power to get wealth!
Power to get wealth comes when we align ourselves with God’s promises.
When we align ourselves, God will keep on supplying.
The believers in Christ and His natural people the Jews. God will move nations just to put them the place He wants. These are the two groups God is concerned about.
God will make leaders make decision all because of one couple or one child.
Through all the terrible darkness and mindless killing of the innocents, the people are now prepared to go to their lands.
Bring grace and Jesus out of the Old Testament.
There is something very important for us to learn. The Lord resurrected and came back and walked with the depressed couple walking along the Emmaus Road
Luke 24:27
And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
Joseph came from the line of Solomon.
David and Goliath.
The father sent the son to the battlefield who was a shepherd boy.
Take this bread. He came to his own and not many receive him.
There are seasons in our lives where we are full of faith or like a guy without faith.
All the soldiers said Goliath too big. David was fresh from God’s presence. He was so full of God.
David killed Goliath with one stone. David killed Goliath and took the head of Goliath to Jerusalem. He buried him in the place of the skull.
Jesus was crucified and destroyed the greater Goliath, the enemy of our souls!
We have a greater son of David who is at the right hand of the Father.
When David was rejected, he had men came to him.
1 Samuel 22:1-2
Chapter 22
David’s Four Hundred Men
David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.
Come unto Me those who labour and heavy laden I will give you rest.
2 Samuel 3:1
Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.
David never fought with Saul. David grew stronger and stronger and Saul grew weaker and weaker.
Learn what is the present truth and flow with Him. Know what is the now-anointed.
Who is the Lord’s anointed today? Our Lord Jesus!
Invest in Him. Come to Him.
Saul died with his son Jonathan. Is a picture of believer who did not go all the way.
Had Jonathan been with David he will not die premature.
Let us go all the way.
2 Samuel 3:17-18
Now Abner had communicated with the elders of Israel, saying, “In time past you were seeking for David to be king over you. Now then, do it! For the Lord has spoken of David, saying, ‘By the hand of My servant David, I will save My people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and the hand of all their enemies.’ ”
Now he aligned himself with God’s plan and purpose.
When u follow the Lord, the anointing of Lord falls on you.
2 Samuel 23:8-12
David’s Mighty Men
These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb-Basshebeth the Tachmonite, chief among the captains. He was called Adino the Eznite, because he had killed eight hundred men at one time. And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder. And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. So the people fled from the Philistines. But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.
They are types and ours is the substance.
We preach and 800 men are filled in the spirit.
Sword- the Word of God!
Handle the word of God until the word and you become one.
Speak the sword of word – every scripture is God’s breathed.
The Lord brought about a great victory!
Today we follow the Lord, He heals the sick, He is radiance, it comes on us!
2 Samuel 23:20-22
Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed two lion-like heroes of Moab. He also had gone down and killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day. And he killed an Egyptian, a spectacular man. The Egyptian had a spear in his hand; so he went down to him with a staff, wrested the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear. These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and won a name among three mighty men.
He killed the lion in the pit on a snowy day!
When we follow the Lord’s anointed, His anointing comes on us!
In this list there is one name missing. – Joab
God looks at the people’s hearts for the King, Jesus!
There are people who serve the Lord for their own name or trying to profit out of it.
Preach the goodness of God and lead them to repentance.
David did not give a command. He just wished for the water from the well. There were 3 men who heard what he said. They broke through and got the water from the well of Bethlehem
He did not drink the water that they risk their lives for and this was the kingly character that won their hearts.
No kingdom was won by the 3 of them but their names are put in. God saw their hearts.
Kingly characteristics –
Not petty
Not irritated with little things
Forgive easily
Not cheapskate (generous)
We are following King of all kings, Jesus!
God’s grace abounded. All the sons of David God chose Solomon. You might not began right but you will end up right.
Romans 16:12
Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, who have labored in the Lord. Greet the beloved Persis, who labored much in the Lord.
Much in the Lord.
The Lord’s anointed is the Lord Jesus!
We are all in this together. We are doing something that the world needs.
