The cycle of pain
Grace is a Person. Grace is us getting the good we don’t deserve.
That demon possessed man had no hope. He was someone who never thought any good could come to him. Jesus went all the way to look for him. In that moment perfect moment perfect Man has set him free.
All because love sought him out.
Jesus is the answer. He is the desire of all nations!
We all going to experience pain sometime or another.
Jesus is the answer to cycle of pain
Genesis 29:31-35
Jacob’s Children
When the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. And Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben, for she said, “Because the Lord has looked upon my affliction; for now my husband will love me.” She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the Lord has heard that I am hated, he has given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon. Again she conceived and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will be attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi. And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she called his name Judah. Then she ceased bearing.
Pain is pain. Not categorising big or small pain
Pain makes us feel like we need to be heard and seen.
When we are in pain we have this need and cycle
When we are in pain and wants everyone to see it
Leah married to a man who did not ℓσνє her because he was in ℓσνє with her sister.
She was married to a man who did not ℓσνє her. She was not the beautiful one. She was not noticed.
Have you felt you are not the talented and beautiful one?
Have you felt you are not the person who stay out?
Life just seems really painful.
Leah was in pain.
She started having babies and sons that can carry on family name
Rueben means look he is a boy
We do something we want everyone to see it. We experience so much pain that social media is our platform
If people see me, than my pain will go away.
Simeon sounds identical to the word heard
Leah wanted someone to hear her and listen to her.
We are in a culture that is happening so fast that we are not heard
Levi in hebrew sounds like attachment
Look is a boy
Heard
Attachment
Cheap connection works like soda
When u drink it u get more thirsty
This is what cheap connection are.
You don’t feel heard and seen
Leah praise the Lord this time.
Therefore she called his name Judah. In hebrew it sounds like praise
Leah was still in pain but everything changed
She went from setting for cheap connection to worship leader!
Everytime we are in Old Testament, look for Jesus
Judah is the 4th son
Jesus came from the tribe of Judah
There is only One that can break your cycle
He can break your cycle
It is not what happened, it is who happened!
When Jesus transformed us, it is hard to explain
He can break your cycle just like that.
We believe in the Person of Jesus Christ who can bring changes in our lives and change everything!
Everything Leah wanted in Jacob, Jesus is!
Jesus sees her
Luke 12:7
Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
You want some Levi in your life?
Nothing can separate us from the ℓσνє of God
When we are in pain we wants to be seen and heard.
We want connection!
Jesus sees you and always connect you to Himself and Father
Jesus fulfil your soul
One of the most powerful thing when you are in pain is to praise!
Praise like everything has changed.
