Thanksgiving Service
Only Jesus is the most important One.
End of the year, time flies.
Tomorrow is the new year already.
Deep inside us, why are we not satisfied?
God made the heaven and earth.
Our heart, God put His trademark in our heart.
Shin. Shin is in our heart. Our heart can only be satisfied by Jesus Christ.
He knows all our weaknesses and yet still love us.
Why are we still seeking approval from others? Turn to Jesus.
Joseph when he brought his own father to Egypt, he let them stay in Goshen. Goshen is draw near.
God put us at the place of Goshen. A place where we draw near to Him and our provision are settled.
God wants us to understand His heart.
God wants us to know His heart
God wants us to bring one thing. The sacrificial lamb
When we bring the sheep before the priest, we know we fail. The demand is on the sheep.
Perfect sheep. God wants to give us the perfection of God. He wants to give us His righteousness.
The Lamb represent our Lord Jesus Christ.
God wants us to do the most important action. See the cross. Jesus died on the cross for you and me. We must personalised it.
We touch Jesus we touch eternal righteousness
We touch Jesus there is eternal blessing upon us.
Draw near to Him.
All our sins. Jesus is sent to come and take over our sin. His righteousness His holiness He wants to input to us.
Our Lord Jesus receive our sin, He was nailed to the cross for our sin
God can bless us. God is righteous to justify us God is no more angry with us.
We can walk away in life, we are blessed and accepted in the beloved.
Jesus took our place in sin and we can take His place in righteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
We receive His righteousness
Those who receive the abundant of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life.
This is a gift!
We fail but we are still righteous in the sight of God.
Hear and hear and be established.
Anything that get us hasty to get rich is very dangerous. Greediness give pain.
(Before he came to church)
In Asia Financial Crisis, everything changed overnight for Pastor. He began to live in fear when he lost the money in stock market.
The more he scare the more the money flew.
The more u fear, fear torments.
Heart began to have knots. Everything squeezed Pastor until he had blood pressure.
Guard your heart. Above all things, guard your heart.
Proverbs 4:20-23
My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
Mood worries and fail will affect stomach. He had stomach ulcers and had kidney stones and his urine had blood. Everything became darkness.
We know how to meditate, just what we are meditating.
All the pictures u paint inside you.
He began to eat a lot of food to fill the vacuum in his heart.
He was scared of “no face” and was thinking of dying. He was at a loss.
God sent 3 people to come to church.
The 3 people keep on asking him to go to church and he was irritated by them and finally came to church.
The name of Jesus is called Saviour. He wants to save u.
What u hear can affect u. Life or death.
Jesus wants to come and receive u. U allow Him to take your sin and u take His righteousness
Rest in Him. His profession is saving.
The original gospel that Paul is preaching. God loves the sinners. Whoever believe in Him shall not perish and have eternal life.
He in the past believed to fight than can win.
Life is like waves of sea but we fix our eyes on Jesus and we walk above the waves.
We look at Jesus, things changed.
Walk with God
1. Worship
2. Word
3. Guard your heart
Whenever the devil wants to attack u, he gave u pictures.
God give u pictures too. Just like He gave Abraham pictures.
When the demon possessed man saw Jesus, he run to Jesus, to worship.
Turn to Jesus. When u worship Jesus, all demons depart.
Luke 8:35
Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
1. Sitting at the feet of Jesus
2. Clothed
3. Right mind
Because He lives, i can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fears is gone.
Because I know, I know He holds my future.
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
When Pastor worshipped, at that time he got no way out. He condemned himself. Jesus was accepted him.
Come to Jesus. Jesus will always accept us and love us. God is love. He loves us unconditionally.
Accept that He accepts us.
Why need to be proud to be self-righteous ?
Luke 7:7
Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Jeremiah 23:29
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord,
“And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
We can use God’s Word. God’s Word is like a mighty hammer. We can hammer him back now.
Devil comes to steal the Word of God. He wants to steal the hammer.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Jesus is standing on my side. If God is for me, who can be against me?
When we hold on the Word of God, He is healing us.
2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
He takes all my debts.
Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The demand is very real. My God shall supply all my needs!
Hold on to Jesus and everything began to break.
The truth set me free!
Once your heart is not tied, right believing give right living.
Take His place. Jesus took our place.
The only solution to solve the problem of sin, is to give grace.
Sin not
Lack not
Sick not
Guard your heart.
It is good for the heart to be established in grace.
Established in the righteousness of God.
Be strong in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When the cement is harden, it is established.
Grounded in righteousness.
Heart begin to rest and outside miracle happen.
Once your heart is established in grace, miracle happened.
By His stripe, you are healed!
Hold on to the Word of God!
Whenever u hold on to the Word of God, it becomes healing to your whole body!
Keep it in the midst of your heart. Heal your whole body.
Migraine headache is cast to the sea! Use the hammer (the Word of God) ! Jesus paid big time for us!
Pastor had x-rays taken and there were 3 X-rays with kidney stones. Doctor told him must operate. In his heart, he believed he is healed. In the 4th xray, the kidney stones all gone!
He was established in grace.
Change how you see, it will change your life.
Nothing change until you change how you see.
When Abraham kept on telling God he saw himself no son, God was not angry with him. He is always patience. He showed Abraham the visual.
What you see inside
When you have poor mentality, u see poor inside.
Jesus come to give you life, life more abundantly
Now walk in Him. Walk in the abundance
Change what you see inside.
Life and death is the power of tongue.
Tomorrow is the new year, it is not a matter of new year. You need to have a new mindset.
What u see inside will affect what u see outside.
What u need is wisdom.
There is nothing to lose when u believe God.
Between believing Jesus and not believing and struggle, for what?
There is nothing to lose when u believe God!
See the good days that God wants to give to us.
Isaiah 60:1-5
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
“Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.
See that you are highly favoured, and favor will come
Lift up your eyes and see!
When u face Jesus, ur children will come back to u.
Favour! Ask favour from family members.
When u see yourself righteous, favour will come.
Than u shall see and become radiant.
When u see, there is a glow in your face.
Your heart will swell with joy!
When u seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything will come after you.
When u go after Jesus, everything will be restored.
Above all things, guard your heart.
