Sermon Note

Pastor Ben in Heaven and Earth Ministry

What is inside of us will come out of our mouth

1 Chron 11:4-9 AMPC

And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, that is Jebus, where the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were. Then the Jebusites said to David, You shall not come in here! But David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the City of David. And David said, Whoever smites the Jebusites first shall be chief and commander. Joab son of Zeruiah [David’s half sister] went up first, and so he was made chief. David dwelt in the stronghold; so it was called the City of David. He built the city from the Millo [a fortification] on around; and Joab repaired and revived the rest of the [old Jebusite] city. And David became greater and greater, for the Lord of hosts was with him.

God is Father

Even the Jews who did not accept Jesus will not call God as their Father

When Jesus called God His Father, they called Him blasphemy

God wants us to experience Him as the most loving Father. Like the story of the two sons, prodigal son and elder son

Once we have a pinch of law of do’s and don’ts, when we focus on right doing, we cannot.

But when we start with right believing, holy spirit will lead you to do the right thing and the right time.

Isaiah 54:14-17

In righteousness you shall be established;

You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;

And from terror, for it shall not come near you.

Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.

Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.

“Behold, I have created the blacksmith

Who blows the coals in the fire,

Who brings forth an instrument for his work;

And I have created the spoiler to destroy.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,

And every tongue which rises against you in judgment

You shall condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,

And their righteousness is from Me,”

Says the LORD.

God wants us to establish in God’s righteousness and not in our own righteousness

If the foundation you put the wrong material, you mixed the wrong material supposed to be, the building will collapsed.

We should not mix God’s righteousness with our own righteousness

When we see how righteous He is, so are we.

In righteousness you shall be established.

You shall be far from oppression

For you shall not fear

And from terror

It shall not come near you

Evil will assemble, but they shall not come near you

Whoever assemble against you shall fall for your sake.

Every tongues raises against you in judgement You shall condemn

All of us need to be established in God’s righteousness

Our righteousness is from Jesus

Acts 13:22 TPT

After removing him, God raised up David to be king, for God said of him, ‘I have found in David, son of Jesse, a man who always pursues my heart and will accomplish all that I have destined him to do.’

“From David’s lineage God brought Israel a Savior, just as he promised.

So before Jesus appeared, John preached the message of a baptism of repentance to prepare all of Israel.

Proverbs 21:21 TPT

The lovers of God who chase after righteousness will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction.

God knows David will fall, and He sees David as someone who pursue His heart.

God looks at the heart of the people and what they believe.

For righteousness and salvation there is only one way. Jesus is the way the truth and the Life

Jesus is the Only One who came and declare He is the Son of God. He died and rose again

He is able to accomplish all that God has destined Him to do.

Pursue after Jesus. Is about His σνє for us, not about our σνє for Him

Jesus came and died for us. He gave us this life.

1 Samuel 17:32-51 AMPC

David is a picture of God’s σνє

32 David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of this Philistine; your servant will go out and fight with him.

33 And Saul said to David, You are not able to go to fight against this Philistine. You are only an adolescent, and he has been a warrior from his youth.

34 And David said to Saul, Your servant kept his father’s sheep. And when there came a lion or again a bear and took a lamb out of the flock,

35 I went out after it and smote it and delivered the lamb out of its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard and smote it and killed it.

36 Your servant killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, for he has defied the armies of the living God!

David has a relationship with God. He knows God’s σνє for Him

Circumcision is a covenant

He knows he has a covenant with God and God will take care of him and give him victory.

God is for David and against Goliath

He knows how much he is loved by God.

Because of that he could kill the bear and the lion

37 David said, The Lord Who delivered me out of the paw of the lion and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and the Lord be with you!

David did not immediately defeat Goliath

Holy Spirit leads us to overcome small things and from small to big.

38 Then Saul clothed David with his armor; he put a bronze helmet on his head and clothed him with a coat of mail.

39 And David girded his sword over his armor. Then he tried to go, but could not, for he was not used to it. And David said to Saul, I cannot go with these, for I am not used to them. And David took them off.

40 Then he took his staff in his hand and chose five smooth stones out of the brook and put them in his shepherd’s [lunch] bag [a whole kid’s skin slung from his shoulder], in his pouch, and his sling was in his hand, and he drew near the Philistine.

41 The Philistine came on and drew near to David, the man who bore the shield going before him.

σνє of God, righteousness, grace

42 And when the Philistine looked around and saw David, he scorned and despised him, for he was but an adolescent, with a healthy reddish color and a fair face.

43 And the Philistine said to David, Am I a dog, that you should come to me with sticks? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

44 The Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field.

This is the picture of what condemnation does. He always bring you fear of death

45 Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel, Whom you have defied.

All David had was a simple stone and the power of his belief and his words.

This is the same today.

How we can overcome devil is our faith in our hearts and speaking.

When God said let there be light and there was light.

How we accomplish something also the same

Our mind first we have to see if we are in line with God’s words

The thoughts not in line with God’s word we need to remove

Be careful of what we say

Life and death is in the power of our tongues

How our thoughts and beliefs can be affected is by our surroundings and what we focus on. It will form up our beliefs and the mind and words will be formed up automatically

46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will smite you and cut off your head. And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.

48 When the Philistine came forward to meet David, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.

49 David put his hand into his bag and took out a stone and slung it, and it struck the Philistine, sinking into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.

From the 5 stones David took out one.

50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and struck down the Philistine and slew him. But no sword was in David’s hand.

51 So he ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath, and killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their mighty champion was dead, they fled.

It is best to totally kill condemnation and guilt. Cut off his head and never to let it speak again

Never to let any condemnation come near us as well

Goliath means exile

In Genesis, Adam and Eve were been exiled from Garden of Eden. They chose the Tree of knowledge of good and evil.

They were exiled from God’s perfect plan

From then all humanity was exiled

Exiled – a state of being barred from one’s native country

Expel and bar

God provided everything for Adam and Eve but because they chose to disobey they lost the glory that God had covered them.

Jesus came to restore that.

Goliath – to denude (disgrace)

By implication to exile

This is a picture of fallen human race

When God’s glory departed from Adam and Eve, the first realisation was they were naked.

Humanity has already fallen. We always cover with something of the nature.

God has a bigger purpose. He provided a plan of salvation

Psalm 23:3 AMPC

He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.

We will never be ashamed again. We will receive the gift of righteousness and never be in condemnation

To receive restoration of health and prosperity that God has already designed when He first created human beings.

At the cross Jesus took our place because by right we should be the one to be ashamed. No matter how we try we will fall short of God’s glory

God covered Adam and Eve with animal skin to show there must be sacrifice.

Today we can boldly come to God and call Him Abba Father. Jesus is the sacrifice

Be established in His righteousness

God wants us to be blessed everyday

Not one day super high and one day super low.

There will be challenges but God’s grace is always there.

Every emotion will create certain chemical in our bodies

Stress comes from worrying

God said many times in the bible, do not fear, do not worry

God wants us to live everyday full of His joy and blessings

First you overcome the bear, the lion and Goliath.

God has completed the destiny that He has given

Romans 10:1-4

Israel Needs the Gospel

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Sometimes people can mistake God’s righteousness as a zeal for God

It is not about what we do. Not according to knowledge

God makes everything so simple. Just believe and it is done

It is not about we have to be doing all the right things than God accept you. The day you believe, God said is done.

It starts with believe first.

God will work with each and every individual right from believing first.

The Jews could not see that.

They still tried to earn righteousness by sacrificial law

Today it can also happen to Christians. The Word of God is not rightly divided.

It is not sometimes God loves me and sometimes God don’t σνє me

The full grace message today is been restored in the body of Christ

May this message of righteousness and God’s grace continue to be expand more.

We thank God for Pastor Prince ministry.

1 John 4:17-19 TPT

17 By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.

18 Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.

19 Our love for others is our grateful response to the love God first demonstrated to us.

When we know how much God loves us, we will know as Jesus is, so are we in this world.

He is in heaven and is glorious in every way, so are we in this world.

σνє never bring fear.

Fear is related to punishment.

When we know the perfect σνє of God it will drive out the fear

The spirit realm is greater than the natural world

He will not allow any bad things to happen to you in your life.

Romans 8:32 TPT

32 For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.

Romans 8:37 AMPC

37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

Be careful with what we constantly feed our minds

Today it is so easy to get information, instant food.

If you eat too much of instant noodles what will happen?

Is good to have information but how will the information affect you?

Goliath was screaming at David but he was not affected because he was so established in God’s σνє.

The darker the world is, the brighter God’s children will be

This light is in each of us today

God has covered us with the glory of God

We have God’s light in us.

The devil is afraid of us.

If we do not know who we are in Christ, we will be afraid of devil.

May everyone of us be established in God’s righteousness, His σνє for us.
