Sermon Note (4th svc)

Pastor Prince

The devil plays mind games with you.

Our mind, that is where the battle field is.

Anchored will anchor our mind with His peace. There is a place in Christ we can be anchored to the Rock.

Put the Word of God everywhere. Raise up, speak of it. Lie down, speak of it.

Deut 11

Fill your house with the Word of God

The best way to love the person is to tell the person about Jesus.

Come fresh and ready

How to possess your possession through the wisdom of God?

You don’t get wisdom from places and books or from getting old.

When you don’t forgive someone, it is like making poison for that someone and you drink it yourself

Solomon asked God for wisdom. With wisdom come riches, honour and length of days and it comes with peace.

A life full of peace.

God loves you. God loves your family. There is wisdom for your family.

The Lord gives us wisdom.

Every good gifts.

He gives wisdom to govern nation. Natural wisdom.

We believe our former prime minister was given wisdom

There are enemies out there wanting to rob you of your possession.

The bible unveil Christ. Whoever and whatever Christ is and has, we have. As He is, so are we in this world. We read the bible to find Christ. How God view Christ is how God view us.

Why dead sea is called dead sea? Cos it is so full of minerals but there is inlet and no outlet. If you keep on receiving and don’t give, that is called dead sea.

Prepare ye the way of the Lord. (Yehweh)

Jesus is Yahweh. Let every mountain (Jerusalem) be brought low and every valley (Galilee of the Gentiles) be exalted.

Galilee is below sea level.

Making straight the way of the Lord.

Perhaps today you are battling with thoughts of anxieties and depressive thoughts, or relationship situations, whatever the case may be, God has a wisdom for you.

We are in the warfare. We put on the armor of God.

Whatever you give room to, will grow.

What you compromise will come back to haunt you.

Your flesh is robbing you.

Foolishness is bound up in the heart of the child. A child not corrected is to kill him.

Numbers 32:1-9

The Tribes Settling East of the Jordan

(Deut. 3:12–22)

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock, the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the congregation, saying, “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Shebam, Nebo, and Beon, the country which the Lord defeated before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.” Therefore they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not take us over the Jordan.”

And Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben: “Shall your brethren go to war while you sit here? Now why will you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord has given them? Thus your fathers did when I sent them away from Kadesh Barnea to see the land. For when they went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, so that they did not go into the land which the Lord had given them.

God told Moses He was grieved that the other spies said they could not go into the promised land.

Flowing means you are blessing others. The land is flowing with milk and honey.

We don’t want to be wondering wandering.

We receive wisdom

There is an attack on you, wake up and realised there is an enemy out there. We are not fighting for but fighting from victory.

Numbers 32:16-23

Then they came near to him and said: “We will build sheepfolds here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones, but we ourselves will be armed, ready to go before the children of Israel until we have brought them to their place; and our little ones will dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land. We will not return to our homes until every one of the children of Israel has received his inheritance. For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has fallen to us on this eastern side of the Jordan.”

Then Moses said to them: “If you do this thing, if you arm yourselves before the Lord for the war, and all your armed men cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven out His enemies from before Him, and the land is subdued before the Lord, then afterward you may return and be blameless before the Lord and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the Lord. But if you do not do so, then take note, you have sinned against the Lord; and be sure your sin will find you out.

Just living for money will rob you the best you have.

The tribes compromised on their best.

2 and a half tribes. From then, after they compromised they became normal (no priest or any heroes come out from the tribes) and they missed out the best they can have.

There is no white lie or purple lie. A lie is a lie.

To God, a bit of lie can cause you your health.

The word holy and whole has the same root. Whole is healthy

Reuben, Gad and East Manasseh are the 2 and half tribes

Don’t compromise.

We are blessed, not lucky.

We are blessed by Jesus

Little compromises will make us proud.

Where you energy and focus is spent, are you doing it for yourself or for the Lord?

What is the world?

The world is not walking among trees and nature.

1 John 2:15-16

Do Not Love the World

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

The lust of the eyes –

Eve saw the tree was good for food and make one wise (wise according to serpent)

Pride of life-

Adam failed in the best environment.

Jesus was in hostile environment in the wilderness and He succeeded

Father loves me and have the best for me

You don’t know what is the best. God knows what is the best for us.

God has the best for us.

Inheritance in the spiritual is manifested

1 Peter 1:3-5

A Heavenly Inheritance

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

  1. Inheritance is incorruptible
  2. Inheritance is undefiled (you cannot lose it through sin when you are in Christ)
  3. Inheritance does not fade away (not subject to time)

Our bank is in heaven. Thieves cannot break through and steal

We are the end time people who will see the salvation of God manifest here.

It is not subject to death and time and cannot be defiled.

2 Chronicles 18:1-3

Micaiah Warns Ahab

(1 Kin. 22:1–28)

Jehoshaphat had riches and honor in abundance; and by marriage he allied himself with Ahab. After some years he went down to visit Ahab in Samaria; and Ahab killed sheep and oxen in abundance for him and the people who were with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramoth Gilead.

So Ahab king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat king of Judah, “Will you go with me against Ramoth Gilead?”

And he answered him, “I am as you are, and my people as your people; we will be with you in the war.”

Big mistake. He compromised.

2 Chronicles 18:29-34

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into battle; but you put on your robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself, and they went into battle.

Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots who were with him, saying, “Fight with no one small or great, but only with the king of Israel.”

So it was, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, “It is the king of Israel!” Therefore they surrounded him to attack; but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him, and God diverted them from him. For so it was, when the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him. Now a certain man drew a bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of his armor. So he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and take me out of the battle, for I am wounded.” The battle increased that day, and the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot facing the Syrians until evening; and about the time of sunset he died.

Don’t fight with just anybody

The children of this world is in someway wiser than children of light.

Therefore, be loving as dove and be wise as serpents

Jehosphaphat cried out and the Lord helped him.

God is Elohim. The powerful Creator

Lord God – Yahweh Elohim (relationship)

He has relationship with Jehovah

The battle is the Lord’s

When you tell someone “i am as you are” you get their fate. It is possible for Christians to touch plagues that are not theirs.

The moment you said “i am as you are” the fate of that person is yours.

1 John 4:17

The Consummation of Love

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

As He is, so am I in this world

Jesus walked among the people.

Do business but never go down to worldly principles.

Don’t get involved in a war that is not yours.

Acknowledge what the Lord has done.

I am as You are.

As He is, so are we in this world.

Don’t ever identify ourselves with anybody else except Jesus Christ.

Identify not with others.

Our inheritance is incorruptible

As He is young, so am I in this world

As He is without diseases, so am I in this world

Never say to the world or try to be like world, you will end up worse than the world.
