3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Prosper – ‘tsalach’
Whole person before God is that of a man who is a prosperous person
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
When you meditate on God’s Word, He will relocate you to be planted by the rivers of water.
His leaf – health
Whatever you do shall prosper (tsalach)
God does not exaggerate
His Word is truth
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Be in health. John prayed for all who received that letter. He prays for us above all things to be in health even as our souls prosper
1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Early church has all the truths
But the word of God grew and multiplied.
Take courage. The Lord is with you.
Lord wants us to live long healthy life
Precious in the sight of the LORD
Is the death of His saints.
You shall come to the grave at a full age,
As a sheaf of grain ripens in its season.
Believe Him now we might live a long good healthy life
Jesus is altogether holy.
All the offerings speak of Jesus at the cross
God wanted us free from sickness and disease.
When you take you communion, discern His body
Your healing is coming!
Is the full gospel message
God’s will for His people is they be strong and well
For all our days have passed away in Your wrath;
We finish our years like a sigh.
The days of our lives are seventy years;
And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,
Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Who knows the power of Your anger?
For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.
“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace,
According to Your word;
You won’t see death until you see Jesus
With long life God satisfy you and show u His salvation
Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
You are under the shadow of the most high
Quality of your long life
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the LORD is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
To declare the Lord is upright
Fruitful even in your old age
It was easy to be healed in those days
First the nature than the spiritual
1 Kings 6:18
The inside of the temple was cedar, carved with ornamental buds and open flowers. All was cedar; there was no stone to be seen.
No worm will destroy cedar and it gives off a fragrance smell
God wants you to be planted. Planted in the house of the Lord
Each church has specific message to the Lord
Palm tree keeps on bearing fruits even at old age. 200 years! Palm tree lifespan is 200 years!
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
The more you spend for the Lord
Whatever you give up for Him you will receive 100 folds in this life
who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
Stay strong. Stay young. Stay healthy. Until Jesus comes again.
Strong by His grace.
Life of David is a type of Jesus
Not his sin, of course.
His life in entirety u will see Jesus
1 Samuel 22:2
And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.
They are complaining most of the time. David was their leader
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
It is by the grace of God you are what you are today.
“But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials.
Anointed king but not crown king yet.
And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the LORD spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.
He was 85 years old and still fought the giants at his age.
His strength for war was his physical strength
2 Samuel 19:31-39
David’s Kindness to Barzillai
And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim and went across the Jordan with the king, to escort him across the Jordan. Now Barzillai was a very aged man, eighty years old. And he had provided the king with supplies while he stayed at Mahanaim, for he was a very rich man. And the king said to Barzillai, “Come across with me, and I will provide for you while you are with me in Jerusalem.”
But Barzillai said to the king, “How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king to Jerusalem? I am today eighty years old. Can I discern between the good and bad? Can your servant taste what I eat or what I drink? Can I hear any longer the voice of singing men and singing women? Why then should your servant be a further burden to my lord the king? Your servant will go a little way across the Jordan with the king. And why should the king repay me with such a reward? Please let your servant turn back again, that I may die in my own city, near the grave of my father and mother. But here is your servant Chimham; let him cross over with my lord the king, and do for him what seems good to you.”
And the king answered, “Chimham shall cross over with me, and I will do for him what seems good to you. Now whatever you request of me, I will do for you.” Then all the people went over the Jordan. And when the king had crossed over, the king kissed Barzillai and blessed him, and he returned to his own place.
Barzillai complained his age
God finds joy in us coming to Him
Song of Songs 8:13
You who dwell in the gardens,
The companions listen for your voice—
Let me hear it!
The Lord wants to hear your voice.
Let Me see your face.
Come before the Lord. The Lord delights to see your face.
Your face and voice is so precious to Him
Be lover of our Lord Jesus
Enjoy all that He is right now.
Don’t just be satisfied by humanly life
God wants us to live a heavenly life.
1 John 4:17
The Consummation of Love
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
There are those who love the Lord from a distance.
Jonathan died when his father died. He was with the right person at the wrong place.
Those with David, they are alive.
Be with Jesus all the way.
Don’t give excuses about your age.
Older people who complain, this is not good.
Merry heart does good like medicine.
Think of God’s Word and His promises.
Be rejoicing in the Lord
A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones.
Depression drys the bone.
Chimham, his son went over the Jordan
You are coming to this age, are you prepared to go all the way with Me.
Perhaps you are coming to 60, are you prepared to cross over and be with Me?
I will take care of you. I will make you like palm tree.
Cross over to Jordan – death to self (all that we are in the natural) come out to Jordan, a new creation in Christ
Are you willing to cross over to this Jordan and there He will provide for us.
Make sure you are there, where all His provision are.
And they departed and dwelt in the habitation of Chimham, which is near Bethlehem, as they went on their way to Egypt,
David gave his own house to Chimham.
An inn in Bethlehem
Jesus is the true heir of all that David had.
Are you willing to lose your life for His sake? You will find true life
Matthew 10:39 AMPC
Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
