Sermon Note
Pastor Gabriel
We will experience rest. We will feel rested.
Isaiah 52:12 (NKJV)
12 For you shall not go out with haste,
Nor go by flight;
For the LORD will go before you,
And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
When you put your trust in the Lord, you will not be put to shame
Noah found grace
Rest in Him and we will find grace
Genesis 9:1 (NKJV)
1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.
Lets remember the theme of this year and the sermon of this year.
John 2:1-5 (NKJV)
Water Turned to Wine
1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”
4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
Basic and lowest level because we are shifting the blame.
Ask the Lord what are you saying in the midst of all of these. Hear what He has to say. Don’t just cast
John 2:6-8 (NKJV)
6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.
Our conscience is sanctified
Find intimacy with the Lord through His work
Ephesians 5:18-21 (NKJV)
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.
John 7:38-39 (NKJV)
38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Isaiah 62:5 (NKJV)
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So shall your God rejoice over you.
Jesus is our heavenly Bridegroom
Giving thanks to the Father through Him
At the cross our Lord Jesus Christ with open arms hung there for 6 hours. He paid the full price. Suffered the full penalty for our sins
He died, was buried and raised from the dead
Luke 24:50-52 (NKJV)
The Ascension
(Mark 16:19, 20; Acts 1:9)
50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
With open arms we worship Him and to receive from Him
Experience the revival with the Lord.
Let us worship Him with open arms
