Sermon Note
Pastor Gabriel
The Lord found us.
Luke 19:10 NKJV
10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Luke 15:1-7 NKJV
1 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.
2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.”
3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:
4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’
7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Mark 5:18-19 NKJV
18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.
19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”
While we were still sinners, Christ came and die for us.
We need to know how accepted we are
Psalm 23:1 NKJV
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
I lack nothing (NIV)
I have all that i need (NLT)
I will not be in need (NASB)
I do not lack (YLT)
Some of you have lost your rest.
May you find rest for your soul.
That is why He restores your soul.
He is the One who will lead you to the path of righteousness for His name’s sake.
As we prepare for Christmas and step into 2026, there will be clarity in your decision
Psalm 68:5-6 NKJV
5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.
6 God sets the solitary in families;
He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Find your fulfilment, joy, fellowship in the church family.
3 John 1:2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
It is the Lord who prosper you. He is the One who brings us the good success.
1 Peter 2:24-25 NKJV
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
He is the One who saves us. We have been returned.
