God loves His people
Doing good – healing all that were oppressed of the devil. Healing is a good work.
9 gifts of the holy spirit. They operate by grace. They operate as the spirit wills.
We must always be sensitive to the holy spirit but not depend on it.
We depend on our prayer of faith.
Believe you receive and you shall have them.
Believe first and the having will come later.
The world by wisdom knew not God.
We also see that in this verse, it has pleased God
To save, heal and deliver
Your faith has sozo you.
Save them that believe.
We preach Christ crucified
Preach Christ’s finished work!
The Person and the work.
Manifestation of the gift of the spirit.
Moving of the holy spirit
To be expectant to receive even when the word goes forth.
We are following after the wisdom of God.
To save heal and deliver
The gospel of grace preached by Paul himself
It was revealed to Paul.
Acts 20
Grace and peace
That is the gospel!
Grace is unearned undeserved favour
Romans 6:14 NKJV
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
You can receive good you don’t deserve! That is the gospel of Jesus Christ
Even when you fail there is grace for you!
But the person will not continue in sin! The sin will be destroyed
The sting of grave is sin!
God calls death an enemy!
People die because of sin
There is no sin there is no death
When Adam sin, death spread to all mankind.
1 Corinthians 15:56 NKJV
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
What gives sin the strength? It is the law.
God’s law is perfectly holy. Righteous and good!
By the law is knowledge of sin. It is to give man sin-conscious
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
They were never saved.
Will of the Father in heaven
John 6:40 NKJV
40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
The gospel is Jesus alone! Grace alone! No works involved
By grace are you saved thru faith. And that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, lest anyone should boost.
We are His workmanship. Created in Christ Jesus unto good works
We are saved without any good works. Not of ourselves. It is the gift of God. Lest anyone should boost.
No flesh should boost in His presence.
But of Him are you in Christ Jesus.
It is not our doing. It is God’s doing that put us in Christ
You are a joint heir. Believe on Jesus Christ
By grace through faith in all that Christ has done
Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
He did everything.
U cannot bring salvation back to work
When you write poet, you must be inspired.
Love takes time. A lot of wonderful things take time.
He that wait upon the Lord
Guard carefully your attention
Having began in the spirit, are you now perfect by your flesh (effort)?
It is not by the flesh, it is by the spirit
It is all Jesus all the way!
We start doing good works without realising it
When you hear good news you will want to share! That is witnessing
Witnessing is not part of salvation plan. Jesus has done it all.
Love does not consider the things she does as a good work.
If you do good work and you disappear, that is you are conscious of it. You bless without announcing it.

Hebrews 6
Gospel is the only thing that can affect our conscience
Hebrews 10:1-2 KJV
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
The real is Jesus.
Worshipper once cleansed will not have consciousness of sin
Your conscience is your consciousness
The knowledge that gives you the knowing is the conscience
There is a christian conscience. That is a perfect conscience.
Once purified they will have no more conscious of sin.
Spirit of faith is released by speaking
Hebrews 9:9 KJV
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
9 is the number of truth, Holy Spirit, judgement
3 is the number of resurrection
4 is the number of earth
5 is the number of grace
6 is the number of man
7 is the number of perfection
Ai can be accurate in calculation
But not in other that involve human being
Conscience is something all of us have.
The more sin-conscious people are, the more they will sin.
Whatever you are conscious of, you will ultimately perform.
Believing wrong
Sinners avoid God because they have sin-debt on their conscience
If you know God so loved the world and gave His One and Only Son. You know the value, overpayment of your sin
Romans 5 – much more what Jesus did far surpasses what Adam did.
We reign in life!
The first Adam – gardener
The second Adam – Jesus Christ lead us out
Valley – time of valley. Low time
Jesus lead us out of dung hill and bring us up to sit with Princes
Everything is paid! No sin-conscious
Hebrews 10:2 KJV
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
Jesus paid the debt He did not owe
When we do good works we are not doing it to pay.
Not of works lest any man should boost.
Hebrews 10:22 KJV
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Forget yourself! Be conscious of Jesus! Be obsessed with His beauty!
Once you are cleansed, no more consciousness of sin
Evil conscience – what is evil to you?
How God define evil?
Evil – in Greek
ponéros (Thayer’s Definition)
full of labours, pressed and harassed by labours
bad nature or condition
Labouring to please God
Restful. Witnessing. Restful career
The only one who cannot enter rest is they don’t believe
Having an evil conscience can cause people to experience death.
Death – depression, constant fatigue, bad relationship
The sting of death is sin
The foolishness of God is wiser than man
You want promotion, stay low. No one can knock you down. God will rise you up.
Down in spirit. It is all Him who will rise you up
1 Corinthians 8:7-12 KJV
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
Perish -> destroyed
Perish is stronger than depression
Sick, weak, die before their time.
They are not dying because they are evil people but because of their evil conscience
Once you are God’s son you are forever His son
1 Timothy 4:1-3 KJV
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Seared with hot iron -> kaustériazó (Thayer’s Definition)
whose souls are branded with the marks of sin
who carry about with them the perpetual consciousness of sin
Don’t compromise the gospel
Sonship consciousness
Jesus is NOT the means to an end
Bring back the focus – Jesus is the Focus, not the means
People who are sin conscious becomes very bad tempered
Devil is never more subtle, he comes into church as religious spirit
Perfect – in regards to conscience
Perfect conscience – no consciousness of sin but conscious of Jesus
Hebrews 9:9 NKJV
9 It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience—
