Matthew 14:22-23 NKJV
22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.
Time with the Father is more important than anything else.
He knows the people and He must be in the presence of His Father
Luke 6:12-13 NKJV
12 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
He talked to the Father for the whole night before He appointed the disciples.
We need to be in His presence to hear Him
To have strength in Him
Luke 22:41-43 NKJV
41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed,
42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”
43 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
Going to the cross was not easy at all for Him!
He went to the Father and He talked to the Father about it.
You can tell God the deepest darkest secret you have.
John 5:19-23 NKJV
19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.
22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
When you know what God is saying, the strength and wisdom is different
John 3:35 NKJV
35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
The benefit of nearness is nearness itself.
The key to blessing is intimacy
Even though the blessing is intimacy
It all starts with camping with Jesus
The Lord just want us to hang out with Him
David, the man after God’s heart, he hang out with the Lord
Intimacy is the blessing and blessings just cannot stop flowing.
On the flag of Israel is the star of David
When you hang out with the Lord, you will end up in your company doing the best thing
Mark of people who just have the heart after God
You get baptised because you are declaring what the Lord has done and saved you
This is the last move: Bring the Ark back to the centre place. To preach Jesus and Him crucified and glorified
Matthew 14:24-25 NKJV
24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
Matthew 14:26 NKJV
26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.
Middle of the sea -> very far away from the shore. They were in big trouble !
Look at what happened
Looking to Jesus. Be with Jesus in the midst of the storm
When Jesus is there with you, just see what happened
Matthew 14:27 NKJV
27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
Be of good cheer = take courage

Courage is a decision, not an emption
Take courage because Jesus said I am here
You need to step up to know
Peter did not care if anyone walked on water and does he has ability.
He stepped out and walked on water
How much more will your heavenly Father give you
Eyes look unto Jesus. The Author and Perfector of your faith
