God’s righteousness
How to move from mental assent to having the experience
We are spirit soul and body
We have this mind. It is very good at agreeing and disagreeing
How dangerous it is when believers just go into mental assent.
You mentally agree but you still live in condemnation. This is mental assent
Healing. Divine healing. By His stripe you are healed, than you mentally agree but you don’t receive
Mental assent is head knowledge
God’s word is real
Philippians 3:1-2 TPT
My beloved ones, don’t ever limit your joy or fail to rejoice in the wonderful experience of knowing our Lord Jesus!
I don’t mind repeating what I’ve already written you because it protects you— 2 beware of those religious hypocrites who teach that you should be circumcised to please God.
We are not going to teach others about a Jesus you don’t know very well
Who willing to die for the person if you don’t know the person well
It is the experience of knowing our Lord Jesus
There are many people who serve the Lord religiously. You can have zeal for God religiously but it is because of feeling religious, feeling good and thinking you have more credit with God.
God wants us to have personal relationship with Him
Paul was talking about this. The experience. The joy of knowing Him
Sometimes we need to repeat the teaching. Paul repeated any times too
Knowing Jesus protects us
God don’t want to see us in pain. He is complete and total. Even a little bit of your sadness, it hurts Him. At the cross He covered all and gave us abundance life
His ℓσνє and favour is a shield
Philippians 3:3-4 TPT
3 For we have already experienced “heart-circumcision,” and we worship God in the power and freedom of the Holy Spirit, not in laws and religious duties. We are those who boast in what Jesus Christ has done, and not in what we can accomplish in our own strength.
4 It’s true that I once relied on all that I had become. I had a reason to boast and impress people with my accomplishments—more than others—for my pedigree was impeccable
Experience the freedom and without fear
Where the holy spirit is, there is liberty
First thing about His righteousness is boast about Him and what He has done. Not what we can accomplish in our own strength
Grace is not a passive thing. Grace is very active but not in our own effort
Once saved forever saved
Christ died on the cross and is complete salvation
He has become your righteousness
All your sins are forgiven, past present future
It is biblical. All our sins are forgiven
Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Your righteousness you can never lose
Truth must be forever settled already.
Grace move us to faith
We need the ingredients of faith
Faith is substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen
He said you are healed than you are healed. He already showed you at the cross
If we cannot come to the Lord with simple faith, we cannot receive from Him
Come before the Lord and know He is and ask and not doubt
Like a little child, go to the Father and ask Him and receive. Don’t need to think and keep questioning whether i will receive.
Don’t doubt Him when He said He loves you
He has proven to you at the cross that He loves you
Boast in what Christ has done
What Jesus did for us – He died on the cross for us. We need Him for our salvation
We can rely on Him
Many people are Christians but they don’t know Christ.
Philippians 3:5-6 TPT
5 I was born a true Hebrew of the heritage of Israel as the son of a Jewish man from the tribe of Benjamin. I was circumcised eight days after my birth and was raised in the strict tradition of Orthodox Judaism, living a separated and devout life as a Pharisee. 6 And concerning the righteousness of the Torah, no one surpassed me; I was without a peer. Furthermore, as a fiery defender of the truth, I persecuted the messianic believers with religious zeal.
So many things to boast about when we talk about the word “I”
Philippians 3:7-8
7 Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for, I’ve now forsaken them and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord! 8 To truly know him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap. It’s all like a pile of manure to me now, so that I may be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace him as Lord in all of his greatness.
Sometimes there is this flesh come out.
There is a self righteousness inside
Recognition not to you
There is a place in grace also that we die daily
Paul said I die daily
He crucified himself (his flesh) daily
You need to recognise the flesh than you can kill it
The ministry can only go on with His righteousness
Totally 100% with His righteousness
We need to know having Christ righteousness is so much more desirable than to have our own goodness inside us
If you don’t let go of your past you cannot move on
The only Person worth holding on to is Jesus
To God everything is past. In Christ we are new creation
Refuse to let devil bring you back to the past
Whenever devil reminds us of the past, remind him of his future
Don’t go pity party with the devil.
Have happy party
Talk about Jesus. Talk about the good future
Have wonderful party and celebrate Jesus!
Have heavenly party!
Jesus came and He took everything on the cross
Lets be found in Him
Look for Him
Listen to Him
As you hear songs of Jesus, be found in Him
Philippians 3:10-11
10 And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus more fully and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and I will be one with him in his death. 11 Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death
Grace message is the good news that tell you how good Jesus is
That makes us want to know Jesus in reality
Philippians 3:12 TPT
12 I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover.
He knows Jesus so much and yet he said he has yet acquired the absolute fullness.
He was still hungry and was still pursuing.
The more you know Christ the less you know Him.
You can never put Him in a box
You run with passion His abundance
It is discovery. God has new things for us to discover. Don’t look for old things. Let it go.
Faith means you go to Him first. Even in the midst of situation
Whatever can be seen is temporarily
Whatever cannot be seen is eternal
Philippians 3:13
13 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead
Forget means throw away those of the past.
You either choose to think of future and the good or you think of the past. Create new things
We choose whether we want to laugh or not. Let God joke with you. He is full of joy
Philippians 3:14-15 TPT
14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. 15 So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them
Cling on His life
Philippians 3:16
16 And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.
Philippians 3:20-21
20 But we are a colony of heaven on earth as we cling tightly to our life-giver, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our humble bodies and transfigure us into the identical likeness of his glorified body. And using his matchless power, he continually subdues everything to himself
Philippians 3:20 AMP
20 But [we are different, because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;
He is talking about our spiritual
We are born from above
From there on, we are suppose to walk like how Jesus walked
From heaven. From there, we are waiting for Saviour
John 3
You are born from above
Set your minds on things above
We come from heaven.
In layman’s term, what it means to be righteous?
Self righteousness is the need to look good. We need to be good or look good
In which area we have grown up and we need to look good.
Why do people dressed up?
So people will look up to you
Look good to be accepted.
The main word is to be accepted.
Right believing will give you right living
Jesus already give us the full acceptance the complete acceptance the day we receive Him
God does not compare us with anybody else
God accept me already
I can be confident as I am
I don’t need to have acceptance of people around me
There is no more condemnation
When you don’t have the need to look good, there is no more worries
If you know God will supply everything then there is no need to worry about anything
Righteousness means looking good and been right all the time
You don’t need to look good by self effort
When you try to be good and get condemned
When we feel inferior we are comparing ourselves with someone.
God never compare us with someone why we need to do so
We are complete in Him
We no longer have the need to look good
We are fully accepted in the Beloved

He will not delay in answering you
We do go through lives when we are hurt but God’s grace is wonderful. Continue to be filled up with His ℓσνє. God brings you from level to level. Faith to faith, glory to glory
Conquer so many enemies. That is how God will bring us day by day.
He who is in us is greater than the one in the world
