Worship
Lord I trust in You

Labour in natural is taking on

Labour into rest
Cast our cares on Him

Worth-ship -> worship

I decrease and Jesus increase!
We labour to take all distraction and put at the feet of Jesus

Converse with Jesus
What happened when one is easier distracted during worship? Especially for those who are musically trained. Distraction goes on for a while and Pastor Louis finds it difficult to worship. One point in his life he realises and he made a decision that he comes to worship Him. The whole thing changed! Pastor Louis changed. It is between him and the Lord. When we come as worshippers is always we and our Lord. Choose to worship Jesus.
With or without music we worship.

Not all of us are in worship team, we are worshippers and children of God
For those who are not musically trained or inclined, what is worship?

Worship is trusting Jesus and letting Him take control. In the process of worshipping Jesus, He wants us to open our hearts to Him so that He can pour into our lives.
The first step when we worship is to open our hearts.
We worship Jesus with our lives.
Music is something that draws us in. Ultimate goal is to open our hearts to God.
As Long as it is giving to the Lord, that is worship. Worship is we are at the end of ourselves, Lord I cannot, You take over. This is worship.
Worship can never be departed from the finished work of Christ. God provided Himself. He provided Himself as a Lamb for sacrifice. God came down. When we appreciate Jesus and what He has done on the criss, that is worship to us!!
It is about what we give to the Lord in honouring Him and it is not the action.
Initiative – depending on own works and gifting

Response – response to what Christ has done in his life and this is the heart behind it.
Revelation about worship
Self aware made worship leading very difficult and not enjoyable.
God’s presence is not dependent on the worship leader. It does not matter who is on stage. He always want to reach out to us.

God wants to reach out to us more than the worship leader wants to.
Pastors and leaders, don’t get in the way of the Bridegroom. Let the Bridegroom loves His bride
The Lord carry us on the shoulder!

You raise me up so I can stand on mountain

I am strong when I am on Your shoulder
We are on the shoulder of God. We are on strong shoulder. It is the anointing of God!
A window who just lost her husband. Her creditors were asking for her children. Elijah asked what she has in her house.

She had oil and Elijah asked her to pour the oil into jars. We are limited in capacity. The Holy Spirit in us. When we meet people who are empty, the oil is unlimited. Is the oil that meets the needs of the people, not the jar. Work steps back and allow the Holy Spirit to meet the needs of the people.
Character of humility. We are just the vessels. Is the oil in us that meets the needs of the people.
David spent time playing harp and worshipping Jesus. No one was there with him. There are times when we are alone with God.
There are times we spend with God alone and when we meet the needs of people. It is not about our ability but about our availability.
Our anointing is not for us. Our anointing is for the next person to minister to.
The true gospel. The gospel of grace. In and ourselves we are nothing. When we meet the grace of God there is a response. When we encounter the grace been made real, we response to Jesus.
Pastor Louis said he is a man of many mistakes. Where sin abound, grace superabound.

His every of his mistakes he does not run away from the Lord. The Lord pursued him.

He was totally broken. He had no confident. But that was the time when people came to him and said his anointing is different. God is not afraid of us been real to Him. He wants us to be real to Him.
It is the gift of God. If it is a gift from God he does not credit himself. Jesus is the One who gave Pastor Louis the gift.
God don’t forget what we give to the Lord. When we give to Him, it is always precious.
Think of Him. Do you not know whatever we give to the Lord is precious and He remembers!
Even the troubles we give to Him, He remembers and He set us free!
Whatever gift we recognise is from the Lord, we give to Him and is precious to Him!
Even our own personal lives when we made mistakes, sin abounds grace much more abounds
Don’t be afraid to linger in the presence of the Lord.
Be real with God. Come to Him.
Deuteronomy 10:8-9

At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day. Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brethren; the Lord is his inheritance, just as the Lord your God promised him.)
Set apart and sanctified to carry the ark of the Lord. Today wherever we go, the Lord is with us!
To stand before the Lord. Not just stand outside.

To minister to Him

To bless in His name
God is asking us to come to Him. Stand before Him before we minister other people.
Before we do that, minister to Him. Spend time with Him. Enjoy Him. Then we can bless in His name to this day!! (Still current)
The Lord is our inheritance, just as the Lord promised. Our inheritance is the Lord! Whatever is the Lord’s is ours!
Just spend time with the Lord. Be at rest.

If we have not spend time with the Lord, how do we minister to others?
Spend time with the Lord and we can minister with the people out there.
The woman who wiped Jesus’ feet with her hair.
Luke 7:36-38

A Sinful Woman Forgiven

Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
The oil is very expensive. More than a year’s wage.
Standing in the presence of the Lord.

Jesus allows the lady to wash His feet. Of all the “funniest and weirdest” things, Jesus allowed her to continue to worship Him.
The Lord allows us to worship Him because He knows we are made to worship Him. We need to worship Him.
This woman did not come to Him pretending to be somebody else.
She did 7 things
1. She knew Jesus

2. She knew where Jesus was

3. She brought alabaster flask

4. She stood at His feet

5. She washed His feet with her hair

6. She kissed His feet

7. She anointed them
The Lord allows us to worship Him even in that gesture.
Jesus not only forgiven her. She met Jesus and Jesus has already forgiven her. She came bringing her tears, her shame, her oil before the Lord and pour on His feet and worship.
Luke 7:48-50

Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”
Your sins are forgiven

Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.
Whenever you come to the Lord and worship Him, the Lord will not let you walk away with no solution. She came with shame but she left knowing she is forgiven and reaffirmed again
Go into peace.
God wants you to come with all your problems and emotions and hurt and as you come to Him and worship Him and pour before Him, listen out for His voice. He will tell you that He loves you and no one can snatch you out of His hands. Your faith in Him has sozo you!
Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:5-7

By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Enoch was taken away and did not see death. His faith pleased God so much that he was the first person of all mankind to enjoy rapture! Before Moses, before Elijah
Enoch did nothing!
Genesis 5:21-24

Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
God took him away to be home with Him.
Enoch walked with close fellowship with the Lord.
Enoch walked CLOSE intimate with the Lord.
What pleases God today is not what we achieve. What matters to God is to bring Him into every of our situation and to fellowship with Him. Our fear, stress, bring all to Him!
Enoch brought all his stress and fear to the Lord. 365 years!

亲密同行
He walked with the Lord!
