The world we are living today is increasingly become more and more dark. This is sign of the end time. Man’s heart will fail them for fear of seeing the things in the earth.
God will give us sanctuary in the earth.
The glory of God will shine on you.
When we pray, thine will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In heaven there is no sickness, no death. In heaven is God’s will carry out in full.
God never meant for us to come to this earth to be sick and die. God called death His enemy.
God’s dream for man is man live life full.
Health in every part of his body. That is God’s dream and plan for us.
There are death and sickness because of sin.
Preach good news to the poor and heal the broken hearts. Many a time before a body is broken the heart is broken.
Devil gives evil thoughts.
The devil does not play fair. He will put thoughts in personal profound. Using the word “I” instead of “you” and make you think it is you thinking it instead of the devil.
As the Word goes forth, expect God to sozo you!
Christ was delivered up to the cross for our sins. God raised Jesus from the dead not because Jesus is God’s Son although He is. The reason is because the work He did on the cross is completed.
He pronounced all of us righteous by the raising of Jesus from the dead.
We are learning to line up our thoughts to who we are in God’s eyes.
When a caterpillar become a butterfly, and once the butterfly became butterfly and has caterpillar’s thoughts, it does not become caterpillar again.
Long before there is stress there is sin.
When man sin against God, God gave this command.
God gives Adam and Eve to eat freely from every trees except for that one tree. If God gives free will to man but surround him with everything that is good, how can man freely choose?
Every tree you can freely eat but one tree
Man listened to satan.
First reaction to sin is we hide ourselves.
Whatever it is we hide because there is emptiness and fear.
First question in Old Testament is “Where are you”
First question in New Testament is “Where is He”
God was the first to kill animals and cloth man with skin.
His blood will provide eternal redemption
Where your body starts to fight against own tissue and cell, this is your body fighting against himself.
Many say is stress induced.
Sheep cannot lie down when they are stressed. Stress happened because of fear.
Deeper root of fear is condemnation which is guilt.
God’s way is to find the root and remove it.
A lot of it is traced back to guilt.
Your body will create something to punish yourself when there is guilt.
God’s way are always ways to protect us from broken bodies and broken hearts.
All we see are outward things.
Many a times the things that caused argument is condemnation.
The gospel is vital thing for people to understand Jesus died for our sins.
Guilt will rob you of your peace of mind and health.
There IS therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
The same crime cannot be tried twice.
Jesus borne my sins. It was God who sent His Son to bear our sins.
God is righteous in making us righteous.
Stop trying to punish yourself.
Abraham in the middle east, saw numerous stars in the sky. The gospel is written in the stars. This is not astrology. It was Adam who passed it on to the time of Abraham. The gospel was preached in the stars. It ends with Leo. Jesus is the Lion.
All the blood Jesus shed for the forgiveness of all our sins is sinless blood.
Tell the stories of the stars. The word Believe is Amen in the Hebrew.
If you believe in Christ you are righteous.
Abraham RUN to meet the Lord.
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like the eagles. They shall walk and not faint. You will run and not be weary.
Abraham at 99 years old run to meet the Lord. They sat down and they ate.
The Lord eating with Abraham.
The long dream-for, God promised through his legal wife, Abraham will has a son.
God knows all our hearts.
Sarah laughed within herself.
She did not think of having children she thinks of enjoying life. Just enjoy the journey.
The key to fruitfulness is just enjoy the Lord.
Don’t see ministry as work.
Enjoy the Lord – the fruit is the by products
Genesis 18:22-26
Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”
The righteous here referred to Lot.
Lot is a picture of defeated righteous man.
Abraham is a picture of winning and overcomer righteous man.
He is bold with God.
Faith is the hand that takes from God. Love is the hand that gives.
Jesus is saying –
I am so full, why do you take so little?
I am so capable, why do you ask for so little?
He never one time rebuke them for asking too much but always rebuke them for asking too little.
Peter was the only one who asked from the Lord. If He gives the Word, the power is there.
Don’t let fear comes to our heart.
We live in this world of scarcity (scarcity in the mind)
In God’s world there is no scarcity.
His storehouse is so full but there is so few “askers”
God is able to bless you, bless your neighbour and bless your enemy.
Tell the Lord you want to live long if that is your desire.
Talk to the Lord.
Lord I don’t want to grow old and fail in my memory. If this is your concern, tell the Lord!
The problem is there is few askers.
You know what is that called? Prayers!
Ask God not just a job, but ask God for a position.
Forget about everything that is natural.
We have a God who goes before us!
When we look at the sun we face the sun, the shadow is behind us.
When we turn our backs on Jesus, the shadows are in front of us.
We look at the sun, it is all light on our face.
The people of the Lord might not be good looking but they are shinning.
If your eyes are looking at negative you look depressive.
Ask God for big things, will you?
Based on science, Peter not supposed to walk on water.
First miracle of Jesus, He turned water into wine. How long does it takes?
Jesus is the first miracle, He compressed time. Jesus can compressed time for you and I. He can give the best wine now. Ask the Lord. We have not because we ask not.
Genesis 19:29
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt.
Abraham stopped at asking at 10. The Lord left. Abraham kept asking and the Lord kept giving. It was Abraham who stopped asking and the Lord stopped giving.
The moment you said enough, the supply stops. We limit God.
Here you find Abraham very bold with God.
God does not want human sacrifice. Jesus was the only One qualified to sacrifice for our sins.
We know God loves us because He has not withheld His Son His only Son. The Son whom He loves.
God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son.
Sarah was barren. So she said to Abraham to go to Hagar
Sarah (grace) and Hagar are like 2 mountains
Hagar is like Mount Sinai. It produces bondage. Sarah is a picture of grace which is the mother of us all.
Hagar’s son persecuted Issac (Sarah’s)
A picture of grace. Our mother is grace.
The Lord is holy but cannot make us holy.
Abraham is a picture of faith.
Sarah is a picture of grace.
God remembered Abraham’s prayers.
Abraham has interceded with God.
The judgement will come after we are removed. God will come.
Genesis 20:1-7
Abraham and Abimelech
And Abraham journeyed from there to the South, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur, and stayed in Gerar.
Now Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.
But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”
But Abimelech had not come near her; and he said, “Lord, will You slay a righteous nation also? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands I have done this.”
And God said to him in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her. Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.”
Sarah is Abraham’s wife. The result of him saying she is is his sister is a lie.
He rather compromise his wife
He lied to save his own skin.
When you have relationship with married woman, God called you a dead man.
There is something about God pronouncing us righteous. He meant it!
God is saying you are righteous in My eyes.
Genesis 20:14-18
Then Abimelech took sheep, oxen, and male and female servants, and gave them to Abraham; and he restored Sarah his wife to him. And Abimelech said, “See, my land is before you; dwell where it pleases you.” Then to Sarah he said, “Behold, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver; indeed this vindicates you before all who are with you and before everybody.” Thus she was rebuked.
So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the Lord had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.
There is something significant for first mentions. The first mention of Jerusalem is priest king. Jesus will rule Jerusalem.
There are 3 first mentions in this chapter alone –
1. He is a prophet (the word prophet is not so much predictive, as much as been God’s spoke man) a prophet does not mean you are perfect. God speaks through man.
2. Healing. The word Rapha in Hebrew. (Secret of healing) the first mention of healing is a prophet (spoke man, who is not perfect) in God’s eyes you are righteous. Shows a man who is imperfect. Healing is prayed by people who is not perfect. We can pray for the sick.
3. Prayer was mentioned the first time. He will pray for you. Someone who prayed who is imperfect who pray healing for imperfect and the perfect One heals. You come to Jesus as you are and He will clean you up. While you are imperfect, God wants you to enjoy.
Grace is typified by Sarah.
God wants to restore grace back to faith! There is a grace revolution. If you don’t have grace you are making your faith legalistic
Abraham was bold and confident to negotiate with the Lord.
If you trust in God you do not need to fear any man.
What happened to Abraham he was afraid?
God delivered Lot but Abraham did not know at that time. He was under condemnation because he interceded all the way to 10. He thought he should have prayed all the way to 1. He blamed himself. He was under condemnation. People lie because of fear.
Fear of consequences, fear of something happening.
You are a blessing of God going somewhere to happen. Not because of you but who is in you.
We are going through trials and not camp there.
You are condemning yourself. Stop punishing yourself, you are not your own saviour.
The most High God has forgiven you, how dare you not forgive yourself.
God has cleansed you.
Abraham was talking about grace but he said grace is his sister and not his wife. Wife is Intimacy not sister.
Be radical about grace! Radical about grace! Have intimacy about grace! Not just related (sister)
You must bring grace back to faith.
Restore grace to the church!
Kedesh means sanctuary
Shur means wall (protection)
A place of protection. Dwell in Gerar. Gerar is the word meditation. Chew and meditate.
Meditation is healing. When you meditate on God’s Word your leaf is always green.
Those who love to meditate on God’s Word, your leaf will always be green! You will always be healthy.
Whatever you do prosper!
Issac grew up
Genesis 26:1-3
Isaac and Abimelech
There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar.
Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.
Dwell in the place of meditation and I will bless you. Talk about God’s word to yourself and to others.
A place of prosperity.
Even where other people said all is bad around you, when you meditate, the Lord bless you.
Genesis 26:12-14
Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him.
When you meditate, you
Begin to prosper
Continue prospering
Became very prosperous !
People don’t talk about us when we are small. But when you are big, people talk about you. There is envy and jealousy involved.
When you prosper, there are people talking.
Stop explaining to the whole world.
A leader should inspire people towards God.
A leader inspiring does not make him a cult.
A leader should be inspiring.
Success comes with a price. People will talk about you.
Health and wealth is not a gospel.
If you believe God send sickness to train us, you should not bring your children or yourself to doctors.
God is not against you having money, but against money having you.
Start believing Jesus Christ, our bodies will get better and better. Even our financial life will increase.
This is the result.
